YELLOWNESS

Do you know the moments when it comes to the decision what to wear today? I mean of course you all know this! What is really surprising to me is how well such a spontaneous outfit can look. Today in the morning I had no idea what to wear also because of the frequently changing weather. That normally seduces me to think at least 10 min about my outfit… but this actually is the result if I just think nothing, as this morning. I guess I should do it more often!

Kennt ihr diese verzweifelten Momente wenn es zur Entscheidung kommt, was ihr anziehen möchtet? Ich mein natürlich kennt ihr das! Was mich wirklich überrascht, wie toll solch ein spontan übergeworfenes Outfit ausschauen kann. Heute Morgen wusste ich so wirklich gar nicht was ich anziehen soll unter anderem auch wegen dem ständig wechselnden Wetter. Normalerweise verleitet mich das zu mindestens 10 minütigen Nachdenken und Entscheidungsschwierigkeiten… aber das ist das Resultat wenn ich mal gar nichts denke, so wie heute Morgen. Ich denke das sollte ich öfters tun!

MS FUTURE

I guess you all remember the Maison Martin Margiela Collection for H&M last fall. There have been these beautiful shoes with a plastic heel I really loved to have but as a student I had to work more than a month to afford me these so having them in my wardrobe stayed just a dream… But when I last time went to the H&M during a break of two lessons I have seen this fabulous leatherjacket and I immediately knew I have to have it! I couldn’t wait – once more – to wear this cool jacket and show it to you guys. Though it may be not very daily outfit I hope you like this very straight and graphical look with its futuristic shapes as much as I do!

Ihr alle werdet euch noch an die Maison Martin Margiela Collection for H&M von letztem Herbst erinnern. Da waren diese wunderschönen Schuhe mit dem Keilabsatz aus Plastik die ich mir so gerne gekauft hätte, aber als Studentin hätte ich locker einen Monat arbeiten müssen um mir diese süssen Babys leisten zu können… Aber als ich kürzlich zwischen zwei Lektionen in den H&M ging, nur um etwas zu stöbern, entdeckte ich diese grandiose Lederjacke und wusste sofort, dass ich sie haben muss. Wieder einmal mehr konnte ich es nicht erwarten, diese coole Jacke zu tragen und euch zu zeigen. Auch wenn sie vielleicht nicht gerade für den Alltag gedacht ist, hoffe ich gefällt euch dieser schnittige und grafische Look mit seinen futuristischen Formen genau so gut wie mir!

FOREST BBQ

You all know that I’m a country-bred person. Grown up in the rural Thurgau I always loved to be in the nature. All the more I was waiting longingly for the first sunrays to go outside again. Then on Easter Monday finally the sun showed up after nearly 100 years we packed a few sausages and went for a BBQ on the hill. Since we both grew up in the same neighbourhood we both know some very beautiful places with a perfect view and lot of sun. It was a wonderful day and I can’t wait for all the coming spring and summer days!

Scarf: A Gift 

Wie ihr alle wisst, bin ich ein absolutes Landkind. Aufgewachsen im ländlichen Thurgau bin ich schon immer gerne in der Natur gewesen. Umso mehr wartete ich sehnsüchtig auf die ersten Sonnenstrahlen um endlich wieder einmal nach draussen zu gehen. Als am Ostermontag dann endlich nach gefühlten 100 Jahren die Sonne sich zeigte, haben Joël und ich kurzerhand ein paar Würste eingepackt und sind in den Wald zum Grillen gegangen. Da wir beide schon seit unserer Kindheit in derselben Umgebung wohnen, kennen wir viele schöne Örtchen mit super Aussicht und voller Sonnenlage. Es war ein wundervoller Tag der Lust auf noch viel mehr Sonne, Sommer und Grilladen machte, die hoffentlich bald kommen werden!
